The goods

Most people know two things about Mazda's 3rd generation RX-7 - 1) They are one of Japan's most beautiful cars 2) They've got funny engines that are prone to going bang. Point two is often over hyped and having previously owned one, am reasonably qualified to comment

nissan skyline c10 GTR

The C10 series of 1968, which began its development under Prince at the company's Opama R&D centre in the suburbs of Tokyo, was marketed with a Nissan badge. By the time the C10 went on sale, the Prince nameplate had been completely phased out on cars and trucks. The dealer network selling the cars became the Prince channel of Nissan, and the marketing group stayed at the Prince headquarters in Mita instead of moving to Nissan's headquarters in Ginza. The C10 Skyline was launched with Nissan's 1.5 L OHC G15 I4 like the S57. A 1.8 L G18 version was also available.

lexcus LFA

The production Lexus LFA features a new V10 engine and a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) body. CFRP materials account for 65 percent of the LFA's body composition by mass. The LFA is scheduled to go into production in late 2010, with a projected run of 500 vehicles at the base price of US$375,000. A circuit-tuned variant is scheduled for 2012.

Lexus LFA engine bay

The LFA's engineers attempted to make the engine sound like that of a Formula One car with high revs, while at the same time maintaining typical Lexus reliability and vibration control. A V10 engine was selected over an equivalent displacement V8 engine for its higher revs, and over a V12 for its lower reciprocating mass, allowing for more rapid engine response. Lexus claims their engine can rev from idle to its redline in 0.6 seconds and an analog tachometer needle could not accurately track the LFA's changes in engine speeds. This necessitated the use of digital tachometer which can instantly display engine speed. The engine reportedly weighs less than the manufacturer's own 3.5-liter 2GR-FE V6 engine.

THE BADS

NISSAN CUBE
The Nissan Cube is a mini MPV produced by Nissan and currently sold in Japan, North America and Europe.

the bad thing about this car is just the ugliest of the body shape.

THE UGLY

Honda integra DC4 Type-R

The reason why i put the Honda integra DC4 Type-R in the ugly session its because of the ugly design of the body shape,,and the ugly sound that produces from the engine because of the high rev, and also its because i dislike integra myself.

Reflection on the past 2 weeks in class.

In the past 2 weeks, we the Automotive and mechanical engineering class had been doing safety lessons on how to prevent unnecessary injuries and others safety, we've done powerpoint presentations and posters on these areas. We also been learning how to jack up a car in the correct way, taking the wheels off in the correct way, compression tests+wet test on a 4 stroke engine, also been writing reports on safety and the compression test.

been enjoying the week but hopefully doing more work.
